The M.G.M Sarvajanik Vidyalaya, Daman was established in 1948 for providing Knowledge for better Education. Since then the institute has continuously evolved to meet the changes in the field of education.
The M.G.M Sarvajanik Vidyalaya, Daman is the only government institute in Daman offering Different Fields which is very important in the education field in daily life.
The Institute has revised and updated course and laboratory equipment from time to time to keep pace with the change in technology and in meeting the growing need for better education.
In this regard various courses have been in operation over the year, the requisite funding has been obtained from both state and central government.
Furthermore the SVD brings together a dedicated team for higher education and the highest standard of education.
Its extensive infrastructure comprised the number of classrooms. One computer lab, One chemistry Lab, One Biology Lab, One Physics Lab, and one Large Playground.
