Examination with our prior permission of Portuguese Government M.G.M. Education Society's Sarvajanik Vidyalaya, Higher Secondary Section was the first Education institution in Daman in the year 1948.

The institution has 3 Laboratories Physic, Chemistry and Biology

The institution has 1 Computer Laboratory with 25 Computers

The institution has 2 Hall for conducting assembly during rainy season, seminars, cultural programmers, meeting etc. It has capacity to accommodate 300 to 500students at a time accordingly.

Ground facilities for sports available within the campus of the institution

The school has facility of pure drinking water by New R.O. Plant to supply pure hygienic water for students & staff

Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Education Society's Sarvajanik Vidyalaya, Daman was established in Daman on 10th June 1948 during Portuguese Rule. The leading civilians from all caste grovyes of Daman established the institution. Prior to that the students of Daman could not get adequate education to get ever metric education they cannot appear in metric Examination with our prior permission of Portuguese Government M.G.M. Education Society's Sarvajanik Vidyalaya, Higher Secondary Section was the first Education institution in Daman in the year 1948.
